    Dear member

I hope you are well and looking forward to another long weekend.

Following the Pay and Grading letters being issued to affected staff, it has been a busy couple of weeks in the office. We held two online meetings for staff to join and ask questions. It was good to meet and hear about your views on the process and offer assistance where required.

Paul and I have also had a few follow up meetings with members to offer more in-depth advice and guidance on the appeal procedure and offer assistance on the content of appeals. If you are wanting to appeal do please get in touch. There is a time limit for submitting your appeal so please make sure that you send it before the last date.

We have a number of reorganisations in WNC at present. The latest to start was Planning, Paul Meadows and I  attended the staff meeting to launch the consultation.

The Regulatory Services final closure meeting has been delayed due to the AD being on Jury Service and I am on leave next week  and is now scheduled for Monday 15th May. If you have any questions on the process, then please get in touch. admin@northantsunison.co.uk

    WNC Pay Ballot

Today is the last day for those in WNC to have your say on the pay offer. You should have received an email two weeks ago and this was followed up by a text message earlier this link to those of you who we hold a mobile number for. We are trialling the text message in the hope that more of you will respond to enable us to obtain a more accurate reflection of your views. You have until 5.00pm today (5th May) to respond. If we do not hold your upto date details then please get in touch.

    Branch Communication

At the last AGM we had a volunteer to take on the post of Communications Officer for the branch. We have up to now been piggy backing off the North Northants Branch and I would like to thank them for their help. We have now set up our own media streams and we will be looking to develop these over the coming months.

I would like to than Anjona Roy for stepping forward and taking on this role. Please have a look and follow us. We may even set up a TIK Tok account -whatever that is.
