Welcome to West Northamptonshire UNISON

We are a 2000+ strong member organisation representing workers across a range of services in West Northamptonshire.

We represent workers at around 150 local employers. These include:

  • The Community Sector (such as Northamptonshire Rights and Equality Council)
  • Housing (such as Northampton Partnership Homes)
  • KierWSP / Highways
  • Northampton Town Council
  • The Private Sector (such as care homes)
  • Schools and Academies (such as the David Ross Education Trust)
  • The University of Northampton

We have members in a diverse range of occupations – from cleaners to teaching assistants, from social workers to administrators, and from lunchtime assistants to managers. However, around 75% of UNISON members are women, and they all have one thing in common: a commitment to the provision of quality services in the communities that they serve.
